Duwisib Castle in Namibia

In 1908, Hansheinrich Wolff founded Duwisib Castle in German South West Africa (present-day Namibia) and had it built by the castle architect Wilhelm Sander (architect of the Schwerinsburg, Heinitzburg and Sanderburg in Windhoek). He originally intended to establish a horse stud there for desert horses. Today, the castle is used as a hotel.
